The Phoenix Course opened in 2006 as one of three 18-hole layouts at Phoenix Golf Resort in Luong Son, Hoa Binh, around 40 kilometres from Hanoi. Its remarkable setting is defined by jagged limestone peaks rising around the golf holes, creating the appearance of Ha Long Bay on land.
Designed by respected American architect Ronald Fream, the course uses the site’s natural movement to create a strategic mountain layout. Rolling fairways, sharp elevation changes and water features place a premium on sound positioning from the tee and confident approach play.
