About the Course
Learn about the course's design, history, setting, and the unique elements that define its golfing experience.
Thai Country Club opened in 1996 with the ambition of becoming one of Asia’s leading golf destinations. Designed by Denis Griffiths, then president of the American Society of Golf Course Architects, the layout stretches approximately 6,490 metres from the championship tees.
The routing blends broad visual appeal with strategic choices. Water comes into play throughout the round, bunkers protect preferred landing areas and well-shaped greens place a premium on accurate approaches. Multiple tee positions allow the course to adapt from an enjoyable resort-style round to a demanding championship test.
Its tournament pedigree was established early when Tiger Woods won the 1997 Asian Honda Classic here. Today, the combination of course presentation, professional service and a refined clubhouse atmosphere continues to make Thai Country Club a standout round near Bangkok.
