Ambassador Program Terms
- INTRODUCTION
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the Golf Travel Australia Ambassador Program(“Program”).
By applying for or participating in the Program, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
The Program is operated by Golf Travel Australia (“GTA”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
- DEFINITIONS
- Ambassador means an approved participant in the Program
- Referral means a customer introduced to GTA through an Ambassador
- Commission means the payment made to an Ambassador for eligible Referrals
- Qualifying Transaction means a completed purchase, booking, or membership signup eligible for Commission
- Ambassador Link means a unique tracking link assigned to an Ambassador
- ELIGIBILITY & APPROVAL
To participate, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Provide accurate and complete application information
- Be approved by GTA at our sole discretion
We reserve the right to accept or reject any application.
- PROGRAM STRUCTURE
The Program allows Ambassadors to promote:
- Golf tours and travel experiences
- Products from the GTA Pro Shop
- GTA memberships and related services
Ambassadors earn Commission on Qualifying Transactions resulting from their Referrals.
- REFERRAL TRACKING
5.1 Tracking Method
Referrals are tracked through:
- Ambassador Links
- Promo codes (where applicable)
5.2 Attribution
A transaction will be attributed to an Ambassador if:
- The customer uses the Ambassador Link or code
- The purchase occurs within the tracking period
Tracking periods and attribution rules are determined by GTA.
5.3 Limitations
GTA is not responsible for:
- Tracking failures due to browser settings, cookies, or third-party interference
- Incorrect or incomplete tracking data
- COMMISSION STRUCTURE
6.1 General
Ambassadors earn Commission on Qualifying Transactions, including:
- Tour bookings
- Product purchases
- Membership signups
6.2 Commission Rates
Commission rates:
- Are determined by GTA
- May vary by product, service, or promotion
- May be updated from time to time
6.3 Qualification
A transaction qualifies for Commission only if:
- Payment has been successfully received
- Any applicable cooling-off or refund period has passed
- The transaction is not cancelled or refunded
6.4 Exclusions
Commission is not payable on:
- Cancelled or refunded transactions
- Self-referrals (where the Ambassador is the purchaser)
- Fraudulent or invalid activity
- PAYMENT TERMS
7.1 Payment Schedule
Commissions are paid:
- On a monthly basis
- After confirmation of eligible transactions
7.2 Minimum Payout
A minimum payout threshold may apply as determined by GTA
Balances below this threshold will roll over.
7.3 Payment Method
Payments will be made via:
- Bank transfer; or
- Another method agreed with GTA
7.4 Adjustments
If a transaction is refunded or reversed:
- The corresponding Commission will be deducted or adjusted
- AFFILIATE OBLIGATIONS
Ambassadors must:
- Promote GTA honestly and accurately
- Comply with all applicable laws, including advertising laws
- Avoid misleading or deceptive conduct
- Not misrepresent GTA products, services, or promotions
- PROHIBITED CONDUCT
Ambassadors must not:
- Engage in spam or unsolicited marketing
- Use misleading claims or false representations
- Bid on GTA brand terms in paid advertising without permission
- Represent themselves as employees or agents of GTA
- Promote GTA in a way that breaches trade promotion laws
- PROMOTIONS
Ambassadors must:
- Not present GTA promotions as gambling or lotteries
- Follow all provided marketing guidelines
- Use only GTA-approved messaging for any competitions you are authorised to promote
Failure to comply may result in removal from the Program.
- INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
GTA grants Ambassadors a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use:
- Branding
- Marketing materials
- Approved content
This licence may be withdrawn at any time.
- TERMINATION
12.1 By GTA
We may suspend or terminate your participation at any time if:
- You breach these Terms
- Fraudulent or unethical conduct is detected
- Your activity damages the GTA brand
12.2 By Ambassador
You may terminate your participation at any time by providing written notice.
12.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Unpaid Commission may be forfeited if Terms were breached
- You must cease all use of GTA branding
- LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by law:
- GTA is not liable for indirect or consequential loss
- Liability is limited to the Commission payable to you
- INDEMNITY
You agree to indemnify GTA against any claims arising from:
- Your breach of these Terms
- Your marketing activities
- Misuse of the Program
- PRIVACY
You must comply with applicable privacy laws when handling customer information.
GTA handles personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
- VARIATIONS
GTA may amend these Terms at any time.
Continued participation constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
- GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
